HARVEST DEVOTION FOR MY FAMILY
I was thinking this morning, as we prepare for our “Harvest Month" It’s so amazing how it speaks to faith, patience, and readiness for the bountiful blessings that are to come.
Morning Scripture: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." - Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
Partakers we must understand, Every farmer knows that a harvest doesn't appear overnight. Long before the golden fields wave in the wind, there has to be soil turned over, seed planted, weeds pulled, and faith exercised through every complex or uncertain season.
The same is true in our lives as we Walk By Faith. God often plants promise in us long before we see any signs of our fruit.
When God gave your Pastor a vision, a calling, or a word of promise, I quickly understood my job wasn't just to wait but it was to prepare. Preparation looks like obedience, persistence, and prayer even before results are visible. Sometimes this means working quietly when no one notices or staying steadfast when progress feels slow. This is so important so thst you will not easily give up! Here’s a principle I stand on, “Every act of obedience tills the soil of our hearts.”
As I taught in the message last week, IT’S TIME TO UPGRADE” Every prayer waters a seed. Every moment of surrender removes the weeds that could choke what God's trying to grow in us.
If a harvest came before we were ready, it might overwhelm us. So Partaker’s, Many times God uses the waiting season to equip us with His wisdom, His humility and His strength. So you have to realize that the preparation is not punishment, it's protection and positioning. Hallelujah!
As we enter into this early season of Harvest, take inventory of what you are sowing. Are you nurturing your God Given Faith? Are you stewarding your gifts? Are you ready to handle the blessings you're asking God to provide? Are you ready to activate your fearless faith by committing to sowing and tithing? I love to hear our Executive Pastor Shelby say, I don’t care what the doctors nor my family says, I was born to trust my God!!! So I say to you,
I don’t care what the enemy tells you, The harvest is sure to come but know that your readiness will determine how much of it you can embrace, receive and sustain.
Let Us Pray:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the seeds You've planted in the lives of these Partakers! Help us all to prepare well for the harvest by staying faithful in the small things, patient in the waiting, and diligent in our obedience.
Strengthen all of our hands to keep working, and soften our heart to keep trusting You. Oh God, change our spiritual trajectory that we move in the direction that has been planned for us! I believe that, in Your timing, we will all see the fruit of all You've promised.
Amen and Amen
